CasaTradeBot — Read me first

Everything you need to install CasaTradeBot, start trading on a demo account, keep it updated and get help. No typing of commands is ever needed.

Risk warning. Trading with leverage can lose money quickly — sometimes more than you deposit. Tested results do not promise future profit. Start on a demo account. CasaTradeBot trades a real account only after you switch that on.

1. What you need

A Windows 10 or 11 computer, or a Windows VPS (a Windows computer in the cloud) that stays on while you trade. On a Mac, use a Windows VPS — see “I use a Mac” below.
MetaTrader 5 from your broker, logged in to your trading account, with Algo Trading switched on (the button in MT5's top bar must be green).
Your CasaTradeBot account — the e-mail and password you used on casatradebot.com, with an active licence.
Optional: Telegram on your phone (alerts and control), and a Claude API key (AI extras such as the 👑 CEO).

2. Download

Log in on casatradebot.com → Account → Download → Get my download link, then press Download now. Do this on the Windows computer or VPS where CasaTradeBot will run — open casatradebot.com in its own browser (Edge or Chrome). Then the file is already where it is needed.
Your personal link works 3 times within 7 days (it is also e-mailed to you). Need it again later? Get a new link on the same page any time — please don't share it.
You get either CasaTradeBot-Setup.exe (the installer) or CasaTradeBot_v….zip — step 3 covers both.

I use a Mac

CasaTradeBot and MetaTrader 5 run on Windows. With a Mac, rent a Windows VPS (a Windows computer in the cloud, about $10–25 a month, many brokers offer one). Open it from your Mac with Microsoft's free Windows App (formerly “Microsoft Remote Desktop”, in the Mac App Store): add the VPS's address, user name and password from your VPS provider. Then do everything in this guide inside the VPS window — including downloading CasaTradeBot from casatradebot.com in the VPS's browser.

3. Install — about 5 to 10 minutes

A. You downloaded CasaTradeBot-Setup.exe

Double-click it (in your Downloads folder). If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway — this appears for new programs; it is normal.
Click Next → Install. Keep the suggested folder C:\CasaTradeBot.
Leave “Start CasaTradeBot” ticked and click Finish. The setup page opens in your browser.

B. You downloaded the zip

Open your Downloads folder, right-click CasaTradeBot_v….zip → Extract All…
In the box that opens, replace the folder with C:\ and click Extract. You now have the folder C:\CasaTradeBot. (Not the Downloads folder and not the Desktop — CasaTradeBot lives in this folder.) If you see C:\CasaTradeBot\CasaTradeBot, move the inner folder up so the files are directly in C:\CasaTradeBot.
Open C:\CasaTradeBot and double-click “Install CasaTradeBot”. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway.
Wait. A window shows the progress (it downloads Python and the add-ons into the CasaTradeBot folder only — nothing else on your computer changes). When it is done, a CasaTradeBot icon is on your desktop, CasaTradeBot starts with Windows, and the setup page opens in your browser.

Running another trading bot on the same computer? Give CasaTradeBot its own MetaTrader 5 installation (install MT5 a second time into another folder) and its own trading account — start with a demo account. Two bots on one account would see each other's trades in the limits (max open trades, kill switch, daily loss).

4. First start — the setup page

Log in with your CasaTradeBot e-mail and password. This links the licence to this computer.
MetaTrader 5: choose your MT5 from the list (it is found by itself) and press Connect, then pick your main symbol (for example XAUUSD — exactly as in MT5's Market Watch).
Telegram (optional — you can press Skip): create a bot with @BotFather, paste its token, press START on your bot, then Find my chat ID.
Claude API key (optional — Skip): only for the AI extras. They run on your own key and budget. When you save a key, the 👑 CEO switches on by itself (you can switch it off in Account & connections).
Trade size: the bots' lot size and your own buttons' lot size (Skip = 0.01).

Anything you skip can be done later: Control Panel → Settings → Setup checklist, or Account & connections.

5. Every day

Double-click the CasaTradeBot icon to open the Control Panel. Closing the window does not stop CasaTradeBot.
Dashboard: your account, quick BUY/SELL, the bots, who may trade, open positions.
Rules & Scripts: every rule with its status and the reason — Allow, Pause, Stop or Delete (deleted items go to the 🗑 Bin).
Symbols: add any symbol of your MT5; pause trading or learning per symbol.
Reports: profit comparison for any dates, every trade, what the bots did, your statements. With several MT5 accounts (Exness lets you open many), tick the ones you want in 🏦 Accounts in these reports — one, several or all. CasaTradeBot keeps each account's trades once it has run on it, so log MT5 in to an account once for it to appear. ✎ gives an account a name.
Settings: trade size per symbol, limits (daily loss, kill switch), automation, 🔔 band alerts.
Telegram: send help to your bot for every command.

6. Demo first, real account later

CasaTradeBot is set to not let the bots trade a real account. Watch it on a demo account first. When you are ready: Settings → Timeframes & account → Trade a REAL account (and, if you want, the autopilot on real too). Your own manual trades always work on any account.

7. Updates

New versions come by themselves. Automatic weekend updates are ON: CasaTradeBot installs a new version on Saturday (or Sunday before the markets open) when the markets are closed.
To update right away: Account & connections → ⬆️ Updates → Install now, or send update now on Telegram.
To switch automatic updates off: untick the box in the Updates card, or send update auto off.
What happens: a brain backup is saved, the update is downloaded and checked, CasaTradeBot restarts for about a minute. Your settings, brain, symbols and data are kept. If the new version does not start, the old one comes back by itself. Open trades stay in MetaTrader 5 with their stop loss / take profit the whole time.
You also get an e-mail when a new version is out. The latest version can always be downloaded from your account page.

8. Moving to another computer

On the old computer: Account & connections → Brain → Save backup on this computer (or Send backup to Telegram). Copy the newest backups\casatradebot_brain_….zip to the new computer.
On casatradebot.com → Account → Change computer (possible once a month; support can help sooner).
Install CasaTradeBot on the new computer and log in.
Account & connections → Restore brain with your backup — it continues where it stopped.

9. Stop, start, uninstall

Stop: Account & connections → ⏻ Stop CasaTradeBot (or double-click Stop CasaTradeBot in the folder). Open trades stay in MetaTrader 5 with their stop loss / take profit.
Start: the desktop icon.
Uninstall — save a brain backup first if you may come back: installed with the Setup.exe: Windows Settings → Apps → CasaTradeBot → Uninstall; installed from the zip: double-click Uninstall CasaTradeBot in the folder, then delete the folder.

10. If something does not work

“Windows protected your PC”: Click More info → Run anyway.
The download link says it has expired: Links work 3 times within 7 days. Get a new one: casatradebot.com → Account → Download.
I downloaded it on my Mac: CasaTradeBot needs Windows: download it again inside your Windows VPS's browser (see “I use a Mac”).
“Install CasaTradeBot” is not in the folder / the folder is inside another folder: The files must be directly in C:\CasaTradeBot. Move the inner CasaTradeBot folder up one level, or extract the zip again to C:\.
The installer says it could not download: Check the internet connection and double-click Install CasaTradeBot again — it continues where it stopped. Details are in logs\install.log.
MetaTrader 5 is not found / can't connect: Open MT5 and log in to your account first. Switch on Algo Trading. If you have several MT5s, choose the right one on the setup page or in Account & connections.
“This account is used on another computer”: casatradebot.com → Account → Change computer, then log in again.
“Please confirm your e-mail first”: Open the link in the e-mail we sent (look in spam), or log in on the website to get a new one.
“There is no licence on this account yet” / “licence has expired”: Buy or renew on casatradebot.com → Account.
“Can't reach the CasaTradeBot server”: CasaTradeBot keeps trading for up to 72 hours without the server. Check the internet connection; it reconnects by itself.
Telegram does not answer: Press START on your bot, check the token and chat ID in Account & connections, then restart CasaTradeBot.
An antivirus removed files: Allow the CasaTradeBot folder in your antivirus, then run Install CasaTradeBot again.

11. Support

Live chat on casatradebot.com (Account page) or e-mail [email protected]. If we ask for it, send the System report (Control Panel → Live flow → System report) — it contains no passwords or keys.

12. Your data

Once a day CasaTradeBot shares with the CasaTradeBot server: your closed trades with their result, account balance, your strategies and error reports — never passwords, API keys or your MetaTrader login. You can download or delete this data on casatradebot.com → Account. Details: casatradebot.com/privacy.
